I have a pretty big gym in San Bernardino, Calif. where we teach Muay Thai, BJJ, Ritual Lineup, and the full spectrum of self protection. The ritual type fight is probably the most common type. It usually kicks off at conversation distance or hand shaking distance, approx 18 inches. The assailant primes his candidate with dialogue and distracting hand gestures before he unloads the coup de grace. The lineup refers to the tactical angle of assault. |
