PostSubject: Sympathy for the Nagel   Sun May 11, 2008 11:14 pm

Hello inquisitive reader,

I think that it's about time that I punch my card here and make this post numero uno. So, please allow me to introduce myself. I'm a man of wealth and taste. Boxing is my chief interest, and I look forward to sharing that side of myself when I throw my hat into the ring.

To get this out of the way, I'll have you know that I'm 20 years old, which automatically puts me ahead as your upstart for the following duration. Don't let that fool you; although I may have less birthday candles on my cake than you, I promise that after you read some my posts that you may begin to believe that I have a beard as long as Merlin or at least the wealth of knowledge to match.

Do I still have your attention? Is this better than your "Hi my name is...", I-just-showed up-at-an-AA-meeting introduction? Ah, I think we're on to a good start.

Lastly, I'd like to welcome you on board. This is not your captain speaking, but if there is anything that I can do to make your stay here on Strictly SP more enjoyable I would like you to know that you have every right to ask. I'm also looking forward to all your contributions, viewpoints, and ideas for the next time that we go toe-to-toe with the 18oz gloves and safeties on.

Pleased to meet you,
Hope you guess my name...

Sorry about that Dave. Smile All I wanted to do was have some fun with this one, even if it meant that it would be off the wall. Hope you can forgive me.

Hi Chris,
Welcome aboard my friend! It's good to have you here! Glad you finally decided to join and participate. Though boxing is your forte, I'm sure you'll be able to constructively add your two cents to the mix. So, please do...

Maybe, through the process of reading and participating, you'll expand your horizons beyond boxing and become a self-protection/combat martial arts aficionado. Wink

Take care pal...

Best Regards,
Lito

Hey Lito,
I'm looking forward to it. Everyone here has class, and I can obviously tell that everyone is here is for a reason even if they unintentially stumbled upon this site. It's like bumping into something in the dark, and when you flick on the light switch you discover you're in Shangri-La. Shocked

AKA an SP-Convert. Laughing

That may very well be. You see I can be very impulsive at times, and with a 'finish-what-you-started' attitude I find that I can easily get hooked onto something once I get myself involved.
