Hi John,

I'm very new to your site as you may be aware.
I read your bio, and like a lot of guys on here am amazed at your toughness both mental and pyhsical.
It's like there's a different bread of poeple. The tough and the not so tough. lol. I'm in the latter group.
My questions are:
Do you think there's a top guy in every city. Like yourself in your city, and Trevor Roberts in Bolton.
Also is it a gene that your lucky to be born with that gives you this toughness, or the school of hard knocks.
Thanks
All the best.

Hi John Sorry for being late in answering your question I think to some degree tough men and tough women and there are some tough ones out there, a lot tougher than me- are born into toughness there upbringing and there influences and the situations they become embroiled in all play a part in shaping there lives. I got tagged as being tough due to a reputation I built up as I grew from a youth to a man. I would not back down from a fight even if I was out numbered which really is a ridiculous situation to be in. I became addicted to violence and I loved a good brawl. The more violence I encountered. the more I began to hate the man in the mirror staring back at me. But once you get a reputation you can't shake it off you have to live with it!

I beleive there to be lots of tough men in every town and city acros the globe I know of real family men who lead a normal fruitful hard working lives and are real tough men I mean real tasty, but didn't choose the life of a tough hard man on the dark side of life.

Regarding the gene there probally is a warrior gene somewhere in all of us and we can tap into it if the right buttons are pressed.
Take care mate thanks for the question

Thank you John for your informed reply.
I have a couple more questions,
In your time on the doors, did you get the chance to use any big Judo throws like ippon-seio-nage after maybe setting them up with a strike. Or was it mainly osoto-gari, and trips. Also have used any chokes/strangles, if so which ones.
Am I correct in thinking your main weapon of choice would be your hands, with your grappling skills used as a back-up.
My last question and most important one, could you move your club upto Yorkshire.haha
Thanks for your time.
