The juniors love this one as a matter of fact I did this at a seminar once with about forty guys and they also loved it.

Have the group number off 1,2,1,2, have all the 1's raise their hand so that the 2's get a good look at them, then tell all the 1's to protect their heads and tell all the 2's to slap as many as the 1's as they can for two minutes, then swap the roles.

This encourages everyone to keep their hands up gaurding their head and to keep mobile and looking around.

Within five minutes the drill is over and everyone is warmed up.

Hi Alan,
That's a good warm-up exercise buddy. Here are two that I use which students have fun with while serving their purpose.

1. Slap Boxing-I pair everybody up in twos and have them try to slap each other on the shoulders only while trying not to be slapped back in the return. I do this for two or three minutes.

2. Foot Boxing- Same as above except, instead of slapping shoulders, I have the pairs try to stomp each other's feet while trying their best not to get foot stomped in return. I also do this warm-up exercise for two or three minutes.

Take Care,
Lito
